Let’s Talk Racism Conference
2026 Call for Proposals
It's time to submit your proposal for the 10th Annual Let's Talk Racism Conference, happening March 21,2026. This year’s conference will be held in Durham, NC. This will be an opportunity for educators, parents, students and community members to discuss ways of building liberatory, culturally-affirming learning spaces that dismantle systemic racism in schools and beyond.
We look forward to reviewing your proposals for breakout sessions. Sessions will last one hour, and we’d like for presenters to incorporate our theme, Curating Change: The Art of Activism in Education, in their presentation. We want to see proposals that focus on students, educators, community leaders, parents, etc embodying social justice, anti-racism work through the arts. While it’s not a requirement, we’d love for students to either lead sessions or co-present with their teacher/advisor.
We welcome proposals addressing our theme through policy, politics, programs, and pedagogy. Please submit your proposal by 11:59 PM, November 21, 2025. Acceptance emails will be sent by December 20, 2025.
